New York, NY IHF State - Of - The - Art Geriatric Center

Located in a beautiful rural setting between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv on two and half acres of land, the IHF State - Of - The - Art Geriatric Center features three patient floors including 300 beds, 3 lounges, 2 sunrooms, an enclosed patio and magnificent gardens. The Center provides the highest quality of care for the elderly including animal therapy, recreational programs, family - style dining, personalized attention on a daily basis from doctors when needed, highly skilled nurses and therapists and mental and emotional care and support.

Residents comprise the poorest and loneliest of Israel's elderly, all of whom are physically and / or mentally challenged. IHF's Geriatric Center has brought dignified care for Israel's most disadvantaged elderly to the highest level possible, greatly enhancing their quality of life. Many of the residents are Holocaust survivors and / or helped to establish the State of Israel.

The Center is a beautiful hotel - like facility that was dedicated in May, 2001 in front of government ministers, Israeli dignitaries and business leaders from around the world. The Center is affiliated with the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv.
